Leo I. Higdon Jr. – Chairman

Leo I. Higdon Jr. – Chairman

Mr. Higdon was unanimously elected to serve as chairman of our board of directors on May 1, 2014. He served as president of Connecticut College from July 1, 2006 to December 31, 2013, when he retired. He also served as the president of the College of Charleston from October 2001 to June 2006. Between 1997 and 2001, Higdon served as president of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He also served as dean of the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. His financial experience includes a 20-year tenure at Salomon Brothers, where he became vice chairman and member of the executive committee, managing the Global Investment Banking Division. Higdon also serves as the lead independent director of Eaton Vance Corp. and he also serves as a director of Citizens Financial Group, Inc.

 

John W. Chidsey

John W. Chidsey

Mr. Chidsey serves as an executive board member of TopTech Holdings, LLC (d/b/a HotSchedules.com).  Chidsey served as co-chairman of the board of directors of Burger King Holdings, Inc. from October 2010 to April 2011. Prior to the sale of Burger King Holdings, Inc. to 3G Capital, he served as chief executive officer and a member of its board from April 2006, including as chairman of the board from July 2008. From September 2005 until April 2006, he served as president and chief financial officer. He served as president, North America, from June 2004 to September 2005, and as executive vice president, chief administrative and financial officer from March 2004 until June 2004. Prior to joining Burger King, Chidsey served as chairman and chief executive officer for two corporate divisions of Cendant Corp.: the Vehicle Services Division that included Avis Rent A Car, Budget Rent A Car Systems, PHH and Wright Express and the Financial Services Division that included Jackson Hewitt and various membership and insurance companies. Prior to joining Cendant, Chidsey served as the director of finance of Pepsi-Cola Eastern Europe and the chief financial officer of PepsiCo World Trading Co., Inc.  Chidsey currently serves on the board of directors of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. and on the governing board of the privately held company, Instawares Holdings, LLC.  He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina.

Donald L. Correll

Donald L. Correll

Mr. Correll is chief executive officer and co-founder of Water Capital Partners, LLC.  Correll served as the president and chief executive officer and a director of American Water Works Company, Inc., the largest and most geographically diversified provider of water services in North America, from April 2006 to August 2010. Between August 2003 and April 2006, Correll served as president and chief executive officer of Pennichuck Corp., a publicly traded holding company which, through its subsidiaries, provides public water supply services, certain water related services, and certain real estate activities, including property development and management. From 2001 to 2003, Correll served as an independent advisor to water service and investment firms on issues relating to marketing, acquisitions and investments in the water services sector. From 1991 to 2001, Correll served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of United Water Resources, Inc., a water and wastewater utility company. Prior to 1991, Correll spent nearly 15 years with United Water, including serving as its chief financial officer. Correll served as a director of Interchange Financial Services Corp. from 1994 to 2007 and Pennichuck Corp. from 2003 to 2006. He currently serves as a director, audit committee member, and chairman of the leadership development and compensation committee of New Jersey Resources Corp.

Yvonne M. Curl

Yvonne M. Curl

Yvonne M. Curl is a former vice president and chief marketing officer of Avaya, Inc., which position she held from October 2000 through April 2004. Before joining Avaya, Curl was employed by Xerox Corp. beginning in 1976, where she held a number of middle and senior management positions in sales, marketing and field operations, culminating with her appointment to corporate vice president. Curl currently serves as a director of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co.  In the past five years, she has also served as director of Charming Shoppes, Inc. and Welch Allyn, Inc.  She currently serves on the Board of the Hilton Head Community Foundation and the Hilton Head Humane Association.

Charles M. Elson

Charles M. Elson

Charles M. Elson holds the Edgar S. Woolard, Jr. Chair in Corporate Governance and has served as the director of the John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance at the University of Delaware since 2000. Elson has served on the National Association of Corporate Directors’ Commissions on Director Compensation, Executive Compensation and the Role of the Compensation Committee, Director Professionalism, CEO Succession, Audit Committees, Governance Committee, Strategic Planning, Director Evaluation, and Risk Governance. He was a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors’ Best Practices Council on Coping with Fraud and Other Illegal Activity and he presently serves on that organization’s Advisory Council. In addition, Elson serves as vice chairman of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Corporate Governance and as a member of a standing advisory committee for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.  Elson has been Of Counsel/Consultant to the law firm of Holland & Knight LLP from 1995 to the present. In the past five years, he has also served as a director of Alderwoods Group, Inc. and Bob Evans Farms, Inc.

Joan E. Herman

Joan E. Herman

Joan E. Herman has served as the president and chief executive officer of Herman & Associates, LLC, a healthcare and management-consulting firm, since 2008. From 1998 to 2008, she served in a number of senior management positions, including president and chief executive officer for two corporate divisions, at Anthem, Inc. (f/k/a WellPoint, Inc.), a leading managed healthcare company that offers network-based managed care plans. Prior to joining Anthem, Inc. she served in a number of senior positions at Phoenix Life Insurance Company for 16 years, culminating with her appointment to senior vice president of strategic development. Herman currently serves on the board of directors for Convergys Corporation, a provider of customer management and business support system solutions. She also currently serves on the board of directors of AARP Services Inc., a privately held company. In the past five years, she also has served as a director of Qualicorp SA, a publicly traded company in Brazil.

Leslye G. Katz

Leslye G. Katz

From January 2007 to December 2010, Leslye G. Katz served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of IMS Health, Inc., a provider of information, services, and technology for clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Prior to that, she served as vice president and controller of IMS Health, Inc. for five years. From July 1998 to July 2001, Katz served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of American Lawyer Media, Inc., a privately held legal media and publishing company. Prior to joining American Lawyer Media, Katz held a number of financial management positions with The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, followed by two years as vice president and treasurer of Cognizant Corporation, a spin-off from D&B. Katz currently serves as secretary of the board of directors of My Sisters’ Place, a not-for-profit provider of shelter, advocacy, and support services to victims of domestic violence.  In the past five years, she has previously served as a director for ICF International, Inc.

Dr. John E. Maupin Jr. served as president and chief executive officer of the Morehouse School of Medicine from July 2006 to June 2014, when he retired. Prior to joining Morehouse, Maupin held several other senior administrative positions including president and chief executive officer of Meharry Medical College from 1994 to 2006, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Morehouse School of Medicine from 1989 to 1994, chief executive officer of Southside Healthcare, Inc. from 1987 to 1989, and Deputy Commissioner of Health of the Baltimore City Health Department from 1984 to 1987. Maupin currently serves as a director of LifePoint Hospitals, Inc., VALIC Cos. I & II, a group retirement investment fund complex, and Regions Financial Corp.  He also serves on the board of the Regions Community Development Corporation (chairman).

Nancy Schlichting

Nancy Schlichting

Ms. Schlichting has extensive healthcare experience and expertise in healthcare delivery. Her career in healthcare administration spans 35 years in senior level executive positions, most recently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Henry Ford Health System, Inc. from June 2003 until December 2016. Prior to that, Ms. Schlichting served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1998-2003. She also served as President and CEO of HFHS’s Henry Ford Hospital from 2001-2003. During her time at HFHS, the company garnered significant national recognition, including the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and the John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Award. Prior to joining HFHS in 1998, Ms. Schlichting served as the President of the Eastern Region of Catholic Health Initiatives, President and Chief Executive Officer of Riverside Methodist Hospitals and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Akron City Hospital and Summa Health System. Ms. Schlichting currently serves on the boards of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. and Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc.

L. Edward Shaw, Jr.

L. Edward Shaw, Jr.

From March 2006 to July 2010, L. Edward Shaw Jr. served as a senior managing director of Richard C. Breeden & Co., or affiliated companies engaged in investment management, strategic consulting, and governance matters. From September 2004 to January 2006, Shaw was Of Counsel with the international law firm of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He has served as General Counsel of both Aetna, Inc. (1999 to 2003) and The Chase Manhattan Bank (1983 to 1996), where, in addition to his legal role, his responsibilities included a wide range of strategic planning, risk management, compliance and public policy issues. In 2004, Shaw was appointed Independent Counsel to the Board of Directors of the New York Stock Exchange dealing with regulatory matters. Shaw also currently serves as a director of MSA Safety Inc., and as a director and former chairman of Covenant House, the nation’s largest privately funded provider of crisis care to children.

Mark Tarr has served as President and Chief Executive Officer for Encompass Health since Dec. 29, 2016. Prior to assuming the role of President and Chief Executive Officer, Tarr served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, from 2011-2016, having served as executive vice president of operations since Aug. 1, 2007, and as president of the company’s inpatient division since September 2004. He joined HealthSouth in 1993, and has held various management positions within the company. Tarr earned his bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and his master’s in business administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Doug Coltharp – Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Douglas (Doug) E. Coltharp was named chief financial officer on May 6, 2010. Prior to joining Encompass Health, Coltharp served as a partner at Arlington Capital Advisors and Arlington Investment Partners, LLC, a boutique investment banking and private equity firm. Coltharp also served 11 years as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Saks Inc. In this role, he was responsible for recapitalizing the company and guiding it through a series of acquisitions and organic growth strategies that transformed it from a small cap, regional department store operator to a Fortune 1000 national retailer. Coltharp began his career in 1987 at Nations Bank, N.A. (now part of Bank of America) and rose to become senior vice president and head of Southeast Corporate Banking. During this time, he advised Fortune 1000 companies on capital raising and other corporate financial matters. Coltharp graduated from Lehigh University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics and earned his master’s in business administration with concentrations in finance and strategic planning from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Barb Jacobsmeyer was named executive vice president of operations on Dec. 29, 2016. She joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in 2007, serving as president of HealthSouth’s central region from 2012-2016 and as chief executive officer of the Rehabilitation Hospital of St. Louis, a partnership of BJC HealthCare and HealthSouth, from 2007-2012. Prior to joining HealthSouth, Jacobsmeyer served as chief operating officer for Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She received her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from St. Louis University and her master’s degree in health services management from Webster University.

Patrick Darby was named executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Encompass Health in February 2016. Prior to joining us, Darby was a partner of the law firm of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, in Birmingham, Alabama. He is listed in Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America and Alabama Super Lawyers. He received his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and his law degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the Washington & Lee Law Review.

April Anthony – Chief Executive Officer, Home Health and Hospice

April Anthony founded Encompass Home Health & Hospice in 1998 as her second successful home health venture. She has led Encompass Home Health & Hospice’s expansion from a single start-up location to an industry leader with a national presence. Anthony was also critically involved in the design and development of the company’s unique automation software, helping Encompass Home Health & Hospice lead the way in home health technology. She graduated from Abilene Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is a certified public accountant and began her career at Price Waterhouse. Anthony moved into the home care industry in 1992 and soon became the owner and CEO of Liberty Health Services. She was the recipient of Ernst & Young’s prestigious 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year award based on her creative and innovative approach to home health care and has led the company’s long standing culture which has led to recognition on a national level as a best place to work.

Frank Brown – President, Southwest Region

Frank Brown – President, Southwest Region

Frank Brown is president of the Southwest region. In this role, Brown oversees operations for more than 25 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. Brown brings 30 years of healthcare experience and has both a clinical and administrative healthcare background. A graduate of the University of the Tennessee College of Pharmacy, Brown is licensed as a Doctor of Pharmacy in Tennessee and a registered pharmacist in Texas. During his career he has worked in a wide range of healthcare settings including healthcare services, outpatient, home care and acute care. Prior to joining Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, Brown served for 11 years as a senior executive with the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Houston, TX, where he held several positions including chief executive officer of the Post Acute Care Cos., chief service line officer and chief integration officer.

Crissy Carlisle – Chief Investor Relations Officer

Crissy Carlisle – Chief Investor Relations Officer

Crissy Carlisle was appointed as chief investor relations officer in September 2015. She joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in February 2005 as the director of SEC reporting and was quickly promoted to vice president of financial reporting in August 2005. Carlisle received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama and her master’s in business administration from Duke University. Prior to joining Encompass Health, Carlisle served as a director within the corporate recovery division of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and additionally as a manager within their audit practice. She brings more than 20 years of financial advisory and accounting experience to the role of chief investor relations officer.

Elissa Charbonneau – Chief Medical Officer

Elissa Charbonneau – Chief Medical Officer

Lisa Charbonneau, D.O., M.S., was appointed to chief medical officer in June 2015. Prior to that role, she served as the company’s vice president of medical services. From 2001 to early 2015, she served as medical director at New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland, a joint venture of Maine Medical Center and HealthSouth, where she held a staff physician position at the hospital since 1992. She has served on numerous committees at Maine Medical Center as well as Encompass Health’s physician advisory board. In 2012, she was named Encompass Health’s Medical Director of the Year for her outstanding clinical knowledge, exemplary performance in the development of quality clinical programs and overall excellence in leadership. Dr. Charbonneau received her doctor of osteopathic medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, a master’s degree in natural sciences/epidemiology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and of the American Osteopathic Board of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Troy DeDecker is president of the central region. DeDecker joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in January 2013 as the chief executive officer of HealthSouth MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas. Prior to his career at Encompass Health, he served as chief executive officer at HMA-Bartow Regional Medical Center and in a number of operations and clinical leadership roles for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). DeDecker achieved an undergraduate degree in physical therapy from the University of North Florida and a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a board member for the University of Kansas Health Policy Management Advisory Board.

Julie Duck was named Senior Vice President, Financial Operations, in February 2013. She has been with Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, since December 1996 holding key positions in Financial Operations as well as Accounting. In her role as SVP, Financial Operations, Duck is responsible for all business office and patient accounting related functions, establishing the process for operating and capital budgets, as well as the project management application for strategic initiatives involving hospital standardization and best practice adoption. Duck holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Business Administration both from Troy University.

Edmund Fay – Senior Vice President, Treasurer

Ed Fay joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in 2008 as senior vice president and treasurer. Fay has more than 15 years of experience in financial services specializing in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, bank treasury management, fixed income and capital markets products. Prior to joining Encompass Health, he served in various positions at Regions Financial Corp., including executive vice president of Strategic Planning/Mergers and Acquisitions, senior vice president and senior treasury officer. He also has held vice president positions at Wachovia Corp. for asset and liability management and at J.P. Morgan & Co., Inc. for global treasury and capital management. Fay received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fordham University and a master’s degree in business administration from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Jerry Gray – President, West Region

Jerry Gray – President, West Region

Jerry Gray is president of the West region where he is responsible for the operations of more than 15 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals encompassing six states. He has also served as director of operations and chief executive officer for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Memphis. Gray completed his undergraduate degree in nursing at the University of Oklahoma and earned a graduate degree in health administration from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Justin Hunter – Senior Vice President, Public Policy, Legislation and Regulations

Justin Hunter – Senior Vice President, Public Policy, Legislation and Regulations

Justin Hunter is senior vice president, public policy, legislation and regulations. Hunter is based in Washington, D.C., and represents the company before Congress and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Prior to joining Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in 2004, Hunter practiced law in the Washington, D.C., firm of Powers, Pyles, Sutter, and Verville, where he was engaged in a healthcare practice involving a range of legal, regulatory, and legislative issues. Hunter previously worked on Capitol Hill for former Congressman Ed Bryant (R-TN), and has worked in and managed a number of grassroots and political campaigns. He also served as a legal clerk for Memphis, Tennessee – based Methodist HealthCare during law school. Hunter earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 1992 from Mississippi State University and a law degree from The University of Memphis in 2000. A native Missourian, Hunter and his wife Caroline reside in Washington, D.C with their two daughters.

David Klementz – Chief Strategy and Development Officer

David Klementz – Chief Strategy and Development Officer

David Klementz joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, as senior vice president of operations in September 2005. Prior to joining Encompass Health, Klementz served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Progress Rail, a $1.3 billion rail services business, where he was responsible for strategic and business planning, financial performance and leadership of the company’s financial, accounting and information technology functions. He has also held the position of manager of business development and planning for Progress Energy, vice president of finance and accounting for Analytical Sciences, Inc., and division controller for the Oracle Corp. A certified public accountant, Klementz received his bachelor’s degree in finance from James Madison University, his certification in procurement and contract administration from the University of Virginia, and completed Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business’ Leadership Development Program.

Cheryl Levy – Chief Human Resources Officer

Cheryl Levy – Chief Human Resources Officer

Cheryl Levy joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in March 2007. Prior to that, she was the national director, human resources/recruiting, for KPMG, where she managed recruiting for the accounting firm as well as advised clients in such diverse areas as recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, development and employee relations. Prior to joining KPMG she held senior executive human resources positions at several health services companies including Preferred Care, a large skilled nursing facility company in Texas. Levy received her bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Alabama. She is a member of the National Association and Birmingham Chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management. Levy manages organizational development, employee and labor relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, communications and creative services.

Peter Mantegazza – President, Northeast Region

Peter Mantegazza – President, Northeast Region

Peter Mantegazza was named president of the Northeast region in June 2008. In this role, he oversees operations for Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, hospitals in the states of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Delaware. Having worked in rehabilitation management for 37 years, Mantegazza has held numerous senior management positions at Encompass Health throughout his 20 year tenure with the Company. He most recently served as chief executive officer at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture between HealthSouth and the University of Massachusetts. Mantegazza received a master’s degree in health care administration from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine City University of New York and is an active leader in healthcare in the Northeast.

Ed Mowen – President, MidAtlantic Region

Ed Mowen – President, MidAtlantic Region

Ed Mowen is president of the MidAtlantic Region. In this role, he oversees operational responsibility for more than 15 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals located in South Carolina, Maryland, North Carolina, parts of Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Mowen joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in 2005 as a regional controller. Prior to his career at Encompass Health, he was vice president of operations for the Women’s Health division at Matria Healthcare, and worked with Promina Northwest and Promina Paulding as controller and CFO. Mowen holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa.

Sandy Murvin – Deputy General Counsel

Sandy Murvin – Deputy General Counsel

Sandy Murvin is deputy general counsel at Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth. She joined Encompass Health’s legal services department in October 2007. Prior to joining Encompass Health, Sandy served as vice president – administration and general counsel for a privately held Internet, telecom and healthcare applications service provider in Virginia, and earlier in her career she held various positions with Sonat Inc., a Fortune 500 Company in Birmingham, Alabama. Murvin has more than 25 years of experience representing public and private companies in general corporate, transactional and regulatory matters. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Health Law Section of the American Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association. Murvin is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received her J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law.

Andy Price was named chief accounting officer in October 2009. He joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in June 2004 as vice president of operations accounting. From 1996 through 2004, Price served as senior vice president and corporate controller of Centennial HealthCare Corp., an Atlanta-based operator of skilled nursing centers and home health agencies. Prior to 1996, he was an audit manager with BDO Seidman in Atlanta. Price received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University and is a certified public accountant.

Dawn Rock – Chief Compliance Officer

Dawn joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in July 2015. Prior to joining Encompass Health, Rock served as Vice President, Regional Compliance for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Georgia, Inc. Her leadership experience also includes serving as Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance for Centene Corporation/Peach State Health Plan, Inc. Rock holds a juris doctor and certification in health law from the University of Maryland School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in social work from University of Maryland Baltimore County. She is certified in health care compliance and health care privacy compliance by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). In addition to HCCA, Dawn is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association.

Dean Taggart joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in 2006 as Vice President of Internal Controls and became Vice President of Internal Audit and Controls in 2008 when the two departments combined. He has more than 25 years of combined internal audit, controls and financial management experience. Taggart came to Encompass Health from Verizon Business/MCI, Inc., a leading provider of data and internet services, where he served as Director of Internal Audit. Prior to that, he served in accounting and auditing leadership roles at various public accounting firms and public and private companies, including KPMG, KLLM Transport Services and Deposit Guaranty Corp. Taggart received his bachelor’s in business administration from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.

Linda Wilder – President, Southeast Region

Linda Wilder – President, Southeast Region

Linda Wilder is president of the Southeast region. In this role, she oversees operations for more than 20 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi and Puerto Rico. She has 30 years of clinical and administrative experience ranging from patient support to regional operations including development of new business lines in diversified organizations for university, not-for-profit and proprietary facilities. Wilder joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in 1994 as an assistant administrator. She has also served as an administrator, regional director of operations, area manager, regional vice president and vice president. Prior to joining Encompass Health, Wilder was administrative director of Patient Services for ReLife Corp. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and a master’s degree in business administration.

Art Wilson is the chief real estate officer. During his 34-year career, he spent 13 years auditing, specializing in the healthcare and insurance industries. He worked with Ernst and Ernst in Detroit and Louisville, Kentucky; and conducted auditing for Coopers and Lybrand of Tampa, Florida, and Miami. Real estate executive positions included vice president of real estate, Risk Management Insurance Contracts and CAPEX for OrNda Healthcare in Nashville, Tennessee; senior vice president of real estate for Mariner Post-Acute Network in Atlanta; and president of Paramount Real Estate in West Palm Beach, Florida. Wilson received a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1971.

Rob Wisner – Senior Vice President, Reimbursement

Rob Wisner was named senior vice president, reimbursement in November 2003. From 1992 to Oct. 31, 2003, Wisner served in various senior management positions with Integrated Health Services, a leading provider of post-acute care services in Baltimore. From 1988 to 1992, he served as a senior team leader with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Maryland, a Medicare fiscal intermediary. Wisner worked for the accounting firm, Clifton, Gunderson & Co., from 1986 to 1988. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. During his career, he has also served on several healthcare association payment committees and boards.

Rusty Yeager – Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Rusty Yeager – Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Rusty Yeager has more than 20 years of healthcare information technology experience and over 10 years of increasing responsibilities in information technology leadership at Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth. Additionally, he served as a medical service corps officer specializing in healthcare information technology in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Yeager holds a master’s of business administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio, a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Yeager has been named as one of CIO magazine’s “Ones to Watch” and Encompass Health’s Information Technology Group was recently named to the magazine’s “Top 100” list for the implementation of its Beacon business intelligence and reporting system. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and is a senior member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
